Groundwater lowering is a concept that refers to the control and regulation of the groundwater table level. Soil surveys and soil gas surveys

A soil gas survey is required before obtaining a building permit on sites suspected of soil contamination. The survey identifies volatile pollutants, and the developer is responsible for its execution by a certified entity until approval is received from the Ministry of Environmental Protection. In Israel, soil surveys are frequently required in various cases, such as construction, agriculture, and industry, to identify soil contaminants and prevent environmental and health risks.

Groundwater Sampling

In areas where there is a concern about the presence of contaminants in the soil and groundwater, the project is required by the Water Authority to implement a plan for the identification and characterization of contaminants in the groundwater. As part of this plan, the consultant conducts a preliminary survey that examines all the factors necessary to assess the potential for contamination at the site and its impact on the project and its surroundings. Within this report, the consultant defines a plan for piezometer drilling and a monitoring plan for groundwater sampling.

Well Injection Testing and Cleaning

When planning a groundwater lowering project, various factors must be taken into account, such as: geographical location, geological cross-section, aquifer characteristics and properties, water quality, the type of foundation and shoring planned, cost-benefit considerations, obtaining permits, and more. Pumping, infiltration, and tracer tests are required when aquifer characteristics are poorly known or completely unknown.

מבחני שאיבה, החדרה ושיוב נדרשים כאשר מאפייני האקוויפר ידועים פחות או אינם ידועים כלל.
על מנת לתכנן את מערך וכמויות השאיבה נדרש לערוך מבחנים הידרולוגיים לקביעת הפרמטריים החישוביים להערכת המוליכות והשטף בקרקע.
